Driving Innovation and Growth: Milestone Projects' Q2 Highlights
As we hit the halfway mark in 2025, it’s been another fast-paced and rewarding quarter here at Milestone Projects.
From transforming our workspace to forging new global connections, it’s all about building the future we want to be part of, for our people, our clients, and the wider industry.
IN THE ROOM WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS
Our CEO, Jared Storey, took part in two standout industry events this quarter – the Total Supply Chain Summit in Stansted and the Richmond Logistics & Supply Chain Forum at The Belfry.
Both forums brought together decision-makers from across the logistics sector to tackle some of the industry’s biggest challenges, from operational efficiency to future-proofing with automation.
We also want to shout out 4 Creative Solutions for stepping up on a last-minute banner turnaround. A small detail that made a big difference.
RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE
It’s awards season – and Milestone is on the shortlist!
We’re proud to be finalists in three prestigious industry awards this year:
🏆 Technical Innovation Project (Hardware) – UKWA Awards
🏆 Excellence in Value Added Services – UKWA Awards
🏆 Best Warehouse Operation of the Year – Multimodal Awards
These nominations are a reflection of the incredible work delivered by our team and partners, and the value we’re helping create across the supply chain.
Thank you to everyone involved, and best of luck to all the finalists. See you at the ceremonies.
CHAMPIONING GENDER EQUALITY IN ENGINEERING
This quarter, we’ve continued our commitment to building a more inclusive industry. From spotlighting gender equality in engineering and logistics to supporting meaningful industry events, we’re proud to help drive lasting change.
We joined Women in Logistics UK at several of their events this quarter. Our team – Tahnee Treadwell, Meghan Hughes, Louise Hughes and Anya Palmer – had the chance to connect with fellow professionals, share ideas, and explore how we can collectively shape a more inclusive future for the sector.
With logistics still a male-dominated space, events like these are essential – not just for welcoming new talent, but for supporting and retaining those who’ve already helped lay the foundations for progress. We’re here to build on that momentum.
SUPPLY CHAIN SPOTLIGHT: LOADHOG
This quarter, a few of our team had the chance to visit Loadhog’s innovative facility in Sheffield.
From sustainable packaging to circular thinking, Loadhog is leading the way in smart supply chain solutions, and their on-site demonstrations showed just how forward-thinking their tech and processes are.
The visit wrapped with a pint at The Glide House, Loadhog’s very own on-site pub. Thanks to Ellie, Dan and Jake for hosting a brilliant day.
READ ALL ABOUT IT
We were delighted to be featured in the latest edition of inbusiness Magazine by Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes Chambers of Commerce.
Our article – “Five Common Mistakes to Avoid in Warehouse Management & How to Fix Them” –shares lessons learned from the field to help businesses avoid costly errors and keep performance on track.

OFFICE TRANSFORMATION UNDERWAY
We’re thrilled to announce that our office is undergoing a comprehensive refit. In collaboration with Copper & Ash, the redesign aims to create a sleek, modern workspace featuring functional break-out areas, collaborative zones, and a comfortable atmosphere. This transformation marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Milestone Projects and we can’t wait to move in!
BIG LOGISTICS DIVERSITY CHALLENGE

In June, our team participated in The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience.
The team took on a variety of activities, from fire walking to inflatable obstacle courses, and even face painting. Everyone gave their best effort, and we are incredibly proud of the teamwork and dedication shown.
A big thank you to all those who took part and helped make the event such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year.
ASRS TRAINING

This quarter our Realisation Team completed ASRS training with Hai Robotics
As part of growing our in-house capability, our new onsite Maintenance Engineers took part in hands-on sessions covering system safety, mechanics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
Proactive upskilling like this ensures we deliver lasting value to clients, with expert engineers ready to keep systems running safely and efficiently.
Thanks to Hai Robotics for an insightful session and continued partnership.
LOOKING AHEAD
As we wrap up a busy and rewarding second quarter, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved, from industry recognition and thought leadership to growing our digital presence and championing inclusion in logistics. With new projects underway, deepening partnerships, and a continued focus on innovation and efficiency, we’re heading into the second half of 2025 with real momentum.
Stay tuned for more as we continue shaping the future of warehouse automation – one smart solution at a time!
