One of the standout moments of the year was when we were crowned the Best New or Small Company at the Robotics and Automation Awards 2024. This recognition marks a huge achievement for us, a testament to the hard work, innovation, and dedication our team invests into every project.
Winning this prestigious award is a reflection of Milestone Project’s commitment to pushing the boundaries in warehouse automation, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work we’re doing.
We also reached new heights with our Rising Star Award win at the East Midlands Start-Up Awards in 2023, setting the stage for a year of continued recognition.
Further solidifying our place in the industry, we were shortlisted for the Midlands Region UK StartUp Awards and the Robotics and Automation Awards 2024, where we proudly stood alongside some of the most exciting businesses in the sector.
As our business continues to evolve, so does our team. Over the past year, we’ve more than doubled in size, bringing in exceptional talent to meet the evolving demands of our clients. This expansion has enabled us to take on larger, more ambitious projects and provide even better service to our customers.
To celebrate this growth and build stronger connections, we held Team Building Days, focusing on collaboration, strengthening our brand identity, and sharpening our presentation skills. These efforts have played a vital role in creating a motivated and fun work environment while ensuring we deliver exceptional results.
We also partnered with Beyond The Podium, whose expert coaching has played a vital role in helping us understand team dynamics and foster a high-performance culture.
Founders Teresa and Graham have challenged our perception of success, inspiring us to work together more strategically and confidently. By encouraging us to explore opportunities in a supportive and bold way, they’ve equipped us to face challenges as a united, empowered team.
In 2024, we both moved into and later bid farewell to our office at the Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC). This initial space laid the groundwork for uniting our team across departments. However, we’ve now embraced an exciting new chapter with a larger, upgraded office.
This move supports our growing team and fosters a more dynamic and collaborative working environment. We’re eager to fully settle into our new Harborough home, creating a space where Milestone Projects can develop while continuing to build meaningful relationships with both new and long-standing clients.
As we continue to grow, our new space will be instrumental in enabling us to push the boundaries of innovation and deliver exceptional service.

This September, Milestone Projects celebrated our 2nd Birthday! In just two years, we’ve grown from a small, ambitious startup to an industry leader in warehouse automation. Celebrating with a meal with all those who have made Milestone Projects what it is today, we reflected on everything we’ve accomplished.
From award wins to expanding our portfolio, every step has been a victory for the team and a testament to the dedication we bring to every project.
We commemorated Christmas and the end of 2024 with a wonderful casino-themed celebration at The Ritz Complex in Desborough, surrounded by our team. It was a fantastic night full of fun, caricatures, laughter, and creating memories together!
This year saw us attending and hosting numerous events, from the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) House of Lords Lunch to hosting potential clients on-site. These events have been invaluable opportunities to network, collaborate, and stay at the forefront of the latest trends in warehouse automation.
Attending industry events and exhibitions has fuelled our passion for innovation, allowing us to form new partnerships and learn from the brightest minds in our field. We’re already excited to see what 2025 holds for industry engagements and opportunities.

One of the highlights was the installation of Hai Robots into one of our client projects. These advanced robotics systems are revolutionising warehouse automation by improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
