Kicking Off 2025 with Growth, Innovation, and Collaboration

As we enter 2025, we’re already making significant strides with exciting projects, strategic partnerships, and continuous learning opportunities. From key industry events to internal initiatives that strengthen our team, Q1 has been a period of progress and innovation for Milestone Projects.

Read on to discover the latest updates from our growing team!

SUCCESSFUL PROJECT HANDOVER

A major milestone this quarter was the successful handover of one of our latest projects from the Realisation Team to our dedicated Support Team. This transition ensures that our client continues to receive top-tier service, with our onsite support team providing ongoing maintenance, training, and performance monitoring.

During this phase, our engineers are actively working to optimise system reliability, tackle potential challenges proactively, and ensure seamless operations. This commitment to excellence is what sets Milestone Projects apart – our projects don’t just end at implementation, we continue to support our clients for long-term success.

MILESTONE HR DAY

With rapid growth comes the need to ensure our team stays aligned, connected, and supported. That’s why we hosted an HR Day, bringing together teams from across the business to discuss collaboration, communication, and company-wide initiatives.

Led by our HR Coordinator, Jenna Rayner, the session focused on:

  • New processes
  • Enhancing interdepartmental communication
  • Upcoming goals and initiatives
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Open discussions to address team questions and concerns

This day reinforced our commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture where every voice is heard and valued.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

At Milestone Projects, we are committed to continuous learning and team development.

Recently, we had the opportunity to work with Graham Ravenscroft and Theresa Wright from BTP Performance Ltd, who led Insights Discovery sessions to help our team better understand their strengths, communication styles, and working preferences. This psychometric tool has been invaluable in enhancing collaboration, strengthening relationships, and equipping our team with the skills to navigate challenges more effectively.

Building on this, some of our team joined Graham and Theresa for an immersive training session at their stunning countryside location –complete with a bit of lamb spotting! This hands-on experience reinforced the importance of both personal and professional development, ensuring that our people not only thrive in their current roles but also gain the confidence and skills to step into future leadership positions.

By fostering this kind of growth, we’re building a more resilient, empowered, and future-ready team.

HAI ROBOTICS PARTNER SUMMIT 2025

This quarter, we had the privilege of attending the Hai Robotics Partner Summit 2025 in Rotterdam. Our Realisation Team representatives, Ethan and Louise, gained valuable insights into the latest advancements in warehouse automation.

The summit provided an excellent platform for networking, learning, and strengthening our partnerships.

A huge thanks to Hai Robotics for their hospitality and for hosting an event that fuels industry innovation!

CHAMPIONING GENDER DIVERSITY

We’re celebrating the incredible women who are an integral part of Milestone Projects. But our commitment to gender equality goes far beyond any single day – we strive to make it a priority every day.

Women continue to be underrepresented in STEM and engineering, with only 16.5% of engineers in the UK being women. However, we are committed to playing an active role in changing this landscape.

From creating a workplace that champions diversity and inclusion to supporting initiatives that encourage more women to pursue careers in engineering, we are working behind the scenes to drive meaningful change. Whether through mentorship, internal development opportunities, or advocating for better representation across the industry, we believe that progress happens when we act with intention.

This is an ongoing journey, and we’re proud to be taking steps toward a more inclusive future – one where talent thrives, regardless of gender.

OFFICE RENOVATION

Big changes are happening at our new Milestone Projects office as we have started our full office refit.

We partnered with Copper & Ash to create a modern, inspiring workspace with functional break-out areas, collaborative zones, and a stylish, comfortable atmosphere.

We can’t wait for it to be finished and to have a space that will inspire our team every time they walk through the door

LOGIMAT 2025

Our CEO, Jared Storey, recently attended the LogiMAT 2025 Trade Show in Stuttgart, Germany – one of the premier events in the intralogistics and supply chain sectors.

The event offered a great chance to reconnect with familiar contacts and forge new relationships with industry experts.

Among the many innovative technologies on display, standout contributions came from Hai Robotics, K.Hartwall, and ITOH DENKI, presenting solutions poised to shape the future of automation.

We’re thrilled about the potential these new connections bring and eager to see how the latest advancements continue to transform our industry!

INTRALOGISTEX

We had an great time at the IntraLogisteX Exhibition 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham.

As the UK’s leading logistics and warehouse automation event, it provided us with an excellent opportunity to explore the latest innovations, connect with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into the solutions shaping the future of logistics.

Shows like IntraLogisteX allow us to stay ahead of trends, engage with thought leaders, and strengthen our industry partnerships.

It was also a fantastic learning experience for our growing team, ensuring we stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

LOOKING AT THE YEAR AHEAD

As we close out a dynamic first quarter of 2025, we’re proud of the strides we’ve made – from successful project handovers to investing in team development and fostering a culture of inclusivity. With exciting projects in the pipeline, growing partnerships, and a continued commitment to innovation, we’re looking forward to what’s next.
